It's about a 15 minutes drive from the airport to the university. Information about bus service can be found here. You can also come by train, the East Lansing station is right on campus. Many hotels, including the Kellogg Center (see below) have a shuttle service from and to the airport.Places to stayA block of rooms have been reserved for conference attendees at the Kellogg Center which is also where the conference will be held. Mention the Plant Biomechanics Conference when making reservations to obtain conference discount rate of $84.00 USD per room per night. This rate is the same for single- or multiple-occupancy. Share a room, reduce your cost.Or choose to stay at Butterfield Residence Hall on campus as a more economical alternative ($31.50 USD single rate, $23.50 USD double occupancy-shared). These are air conditioned dormatory rooms without private bathrooms. Butterfield Residence Hall is located directly across the street from the Kellogg Center, not more than a 5 minute walk.
